I’m going to start planning my funeral.

Yeah. That way when I die, everyone will do exactly as I wish.

Yes.

I want people to play music that reminds them of me. Whether they’ve heard it or not.

I want certain songs played.

I want the soundtrack to my life handed out at my death.

I want a huge party in my honor.

I want people to dance like no one is watching.

I want them to party like it’s 1999.

I want my eulogy to include Stevie Nicks lyrics and Pet Shop Boys Lyrics.

I want a parade.

I want an Irish wake.

I want people to live life like there is no tomorrow for one day. Take a stand. Revolt. Run wild. Run naked through the streets. Talk hard. Speak what you feel. Feel what you speak. Love life and everyone around them as if nothing else matters. Realize that we are not the only one’s on this planet with souls. Play the Moulin Rouge soundtrack at full blast. Confess to the one they love. Open up with one another. Share. Live. Love. Laugh.

Friends, Romans, Countrymen…
When I die. I want you to carry on the legacy of living this life in your mortal coil to the fullest.

Iced Cofee, Fedora and my Mac Mini

Yesterday I purchased a Mac Mini. When these first came out I really wanted one, but thought I’d wait until after I got mallied to get one. However, yeserday I went to FirstTech in Minneapolis to return a failing 160GB external LaCie brand drive for repair. They were having a trade-in sale. So I traded in my old G4 for a handsome $250 credit and purchased a Mac mini with superdrive. Granted, I will need to get a RAM upgrade for it and a firewire hub… but this machine is so cool. Matt Sparby came over to help me get it setup and also help me a little with my fedora install. We had a blast. That evening we picked up a Davanni’s deep dish pizza and had margaritas. Heather was painting (artistically–not the house) and baking a cake but we made sure to keep her glass full too. 🙂

Anyway, I LOVE this new machine. And my new Fedora server will finally be complete soon too so we can try out some new blogging software.

This morning Heather and I enjoyed some sun and cleaned up the house a bit. I made coffee and had cake and coffee for breakfast with Heather on the deck. We both ate raisins as a mid morning snack. I finished some laundry and Heather is doing her laundry as I type. I’m currently enjoying an iced coffee and listening to the Moulin Rouge soundtrack on my new Mac. Later we’ll be off to Heather’s cousin Katie’s place for some dinner with the family.
