Adventures in the Neighborhood

As some of you may know, Heather and I have been looking around for a bigger house. Last night we went to a couple of houses that were listed on theMLSonline one of the houses is a gorgeous little 2000 sq ft. home that is priced to sell. It’s at 3312 34th Ave. S. if you’re interested. It was built in 1947 and has lots of room and two kitchens–an upstairs and a down. It’s a bargain at $229 and will likely be scooped up right away. The second house we looked at was really shabby and needed a lot of work.

Afterward we went to Molly Quinn’s for fish chips and a pint. It was de-lovely. But the most fun of our outing was when we went to visit the humane society. We took a drive and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. Then we spent about a half an hour looking at kitties. There were several that we liked but my favorite was Maverick. He was a PURR MONSTER. He looked like a small Lynx. He was medium haired and would not stop loving us. But, I don’t know if we should get a new cat until we move. Besides, I think Garrett enjoys monopolizing our time.

Here is an old photo of Garrett enjoying one of his favorite pastimes at Heather’s old house:

Update! That house got an offer today! Heh. We knew it would sell. Too bad it wasn’t right for us.
