This morning I setup a new blog for Heather. She has been having a hard time with her old Moveable Type site as it is constantly bombarded with spam. Today, she does not have that problem. We even designed a new blog header for a template she liked and made some changes to customize it for her. She’s very excited–check it out.
In other news I threw a surprise party for Heather’s 30th birthday yesterday. (Her real birthday is on Tuesday.) It was mostly a success. A big thank you to Adam and Dena for holding down the fort and letting people in while I drove Heather around for two hours. All went well until we pulled into the driveway. The pizzas I ordered arrived a little early. The surprise was foiled! But we had a good time anyway. Later, Heather and I went out to dinner with our friend’s Chrissy and Justin. We took them to Nye’s Polonaise which was wonderful. Nye’s recently replaced all the ceiling tiles too… it looks so much cleaner in there. Withouth the smoke, we could actually see the entire restaurant too. Nye’s was a blast.
Tonight we’re going to her mom’s for another celebratory dinner.
