Friday the 13th Weekend Recap

I need to recap some of this past week before I forget.

Almost Two Weeks Have Past

Almost two weeks ago now, right after we had our basement re-carpeted, Heather and I started a couple of projects in the basement. First Heather started the Herculean task of painting the woodwork in the basement bathroom. The woodwork in the bathroom had been left alone but is that dark brown from the late 60s early 70s. Coupled with the green rag-roll paint and poorly patched holes, this room was not as nice as it could be. My Drawering that is the Hulk!

Matt Sparby, a friend of mine, once directed me to a mutual friend’s website called: HULK’S DIARY THAT IS ON THE INTERNET. It’s a blog written by Beaucoup Kevin who’s real last name I’ve forgotten. He’d likely prefer wasn’t blabbed around on the internet anyway. Kevin is more of an acquaintence these days, but I can say I’ve had dinner with him on more than one occasion. I even went to John Harvard’s with him when I was in Boston. Kevin is a great guy to talk to–very witty (as you will note by his blog and the HULK BLOG) and he likes comics. Though using the phrase “likes comics” is probably not entirely accurate. It’s more like he’s obsessed with comics. He once unloaded a batch of old comics he didn’t want on me. It was a nice gesture and I think I may still have a couple of them.

ANYWAY…

Matt tells me the other day that I need to go read the Hulk diary again. So I read some more of it. He also added, “You should draw Kevin a picture of the Hulk petting a kitty and send it to him.”

So I did…
